Can you help me with packing?
Yes, The Relocators can assist with both packing and unpacking of your belongings. With over 38 years experience, we know how to do it right so all your fragile goods arrive safe and sound into your new home. Contact us for more information. Our team of trained packers can safely wrap your goods and box them ready for transporting. We can also provide all packing materials to purchase and have a "HIRE" carton service if you want to save money!
Can you confirm what time you will pick up and deliver our goods?
With transport, there are a lot of variables that can affect pick up and delivery times.
Here at The Relocators we will give you a time to pick up and deliver your goods. If any unforeseen circumstances occur, our driver will call you and advise of any delays.
Is there a cooling off period from when we book?
Yes, Upon confirming your booking, The Relocators will give you a 48 hour cooling off period. After that period, the booking is taken as final and absolutely confirmed. Booking Deposits may be required! Any Cancellations made within 48 hrs prior to the day of your move, may attract a 2 hour cancellation fee at our discretion.
What are your payment methods?
You can pay by Cash, Eftpos or Credit Card. Please note credit card payments attract a surcharge for processing. You will be issued with an invoice at the end of your move. Direct credits can be made to our Trading Account upon arrangement with The Relocators.
Can I help?
Yes of course you can help if you would like. The Relocators are trained professionals so leave the tricky stuff to us, but if you would like to get items to the back of the truck for our boys then feel free, it will help speed up your move reducing your costs. (We do have a minimum 2 1/2 hour charge) Or sit back and watch. It’s entirely up to you.
Do you charge tolls?
Using motorways is great as it saves you money and the travelling time is significantly reduced. Any tolls passed when we are transporting your goods are included in the quote of your removal unless otherwise advised. The team here at The Relocators will discuss their intended travel time and direction with you at the time of your move. Please remember, trucks are legally only allowed to travel at 100km per hour, so it will take us a bit longer to make a journey, than by car.
Are my goods insured?
The Relocators are Fully Insured for your peace of mind and can provide copies of our Isurance Policies if required. If you have goods that are high in value we suggest you contact your house and contents insurer and arrange extra cover on your policy, as the value may extend higher than our Policy allows.
What if I need to cancel my move?
When you book your job we reserve your slot to ensure your move is confirmed for that day. Therefore cancellations close to the booked day become unable to be filled again. Therefore, any Cancellations made prior to 48 hours of your intended booking, may attract a 2 hour cancellation fee at our discretion.
What if I need to change my moving date?
The Relocators aim to be as flexible as possible. We will try and accommodate you to the best of our ability if changes to your moving date are necessary.
Can you disassemble and reassemble furniture?
The team at The Relocators carry a basic tool kit with them to disassemble and reassemble common household furniture. If you have a specific request please discuss this at the time of booking.
Can you move pianos/POOL TABLES?
Yes, The Relocators can move upright and baby grand pianos and your prized Slate Pool or Marble Table. We have the correct equipment and experience to move them safely and securely, provided you have less than 3 stairs at your pick up or delivery addresses. (Like all things, this can be arranged but we may need specialised equipment to get them where you want them) All piano/pool table moves will incur an additional $250.00. Please discuss your specific moving requirements when making your booking with The Relocators.
Can you do balcony drops?
Please note an update in Insurance Policies excludes us from doing Balcony drops or lifts. There is no insurance coverage for The Relocators to provide these services.
I have a complaint!
We do our best to offer you the best service possible. We will endeavour to resolve any complaint to the satisfaction of 'You' the client. The Relocators want your move to be as stress free as possible as we rely on our reputation to gain referrals for our business.
